J.R.'s final expenses

As most of you know, J.R. and I had been together for almost 24 years.   He passed away suddenly on Thursday April 16th.  Of course this was unplanned and I have only had the life insurance for 2 weeks so I am having difficulty getting that taken care of due to  loopholes.  Any help would be so much appreciated.
