Help with bills after surgery

Recently, I had to undergo surgery on my left knee, to repair a torn meniscus. This has left me out of work for an undisclosed amount of time, and unable to do anything of physical activity until healed. This has begun to put quite the financial strain on myself and my wife, who has try try and support us both during this time, as well as keep chores maintained at home while I am recovering. Any help would be immensely appreciated.
