Peterhouse Boat Club would like to honour our 2012 Captain in an extremely memorable way.
We are building a new boathouse and naming it 'THE MICHAEL JOHNSON ROWING CENTRE"
We are a small school scullong club in Zimbabwe, close to Mike's home town and family farm.
After Mike was lost at sea in February 2016 whilst trying to set the world record for the fastest Atlantic crossing, we have been trying to honour his contribution to our club in the best way possible.
We think Mike's dedication, passion and spirit will live on through this campaign and he will always be a part of Peterhouse Boat Club.
As Mike used to say "every stroke counts", so does every donation. All the donations raised will build the boathouse, we hope to have enough support to break ground in July 2016.
