Update 1/17/17
Nine days after suffering a very serious head injury, when an artery (AVM) in her brain ruptured, Rylee remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at the Loma Linda Medical Center.
The ruptured AVM, or Arteriovenous Malformation, caused a large amount of bleeding and swelling in her brain, which caused pressure to build and push downward on her brain stem, putting her life in grave danger. Thanks to the highly skilled team of medical professionals and Neurosurgeons that performed emergency surgery on her that night, and by the grace of God, Rylee survived and continues to fight for her life today.
Rylee had many very serious medical procedures this week, and over the next few days her medical team plans to slowly take her off sedation and begin to "wake her up" with the hope that she will begin to breathe on her own, without the aid of a mechanical ventilator.
Rylee still has a long way to go, but thanks to the many prayers and the loving support she has received, she is beginning to show miraculous signs of life, and give us hope for her recovery.
Thank you very much for all the love and support we have received, and thank you for continuing to pray for our precious Rylee girl.

On Sunday, January 8th, 13 year old Rylee was at home with her parents and brother when she suddenly had difficulty breathing and began to lose conciousness.  Rylee was rushed to the hospital where ER doctors found that she had a major bleed in her brain due to a ruptured AVM (brain aneurysm).  She was immediately transported to a trauma center for emergency surgery to alleviate the dangerous swelling to her brain. Due to the large size and location (near the brain stem) of the AVM, Rylee's condition is extremely life threatening as she continues to fight for her life;  the next few days are crucial to her survival. Her mom and dad will need to take extended time off of work, and travel 30 miles each way from their home to the hospital everyday to be with her. Unfortunately, these tragic circumstances will be placing a enormous financial burden on the family. Rylee is expected to be hospitalized at Loma Linda Medical Center for months as she is expected to undergo multiple surgeries.   Any donation to help cover costs for travel, hotel stay, food, medical expenses and potential loss of wages would help this family tremendously. Thank you for your support and prayers through this difficult time for sweet Rylee girl, as we continue to hold hope for a miracle.❤
