Ryan's Road to Remission

Ryan was recently diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). AML is a cancer that affects the white blood cells. Abnormal white blood cells rapidly grow and interfere with the production of normal cells. Ryan's blood cell count has dropped to a crital level and he now requires a blood transfusion and possibly stem cell treatment and must remain in Sudbury and may be transferred Ottawa for an unknown amount of time. He will also begin chemo treatment shortly. There are many costs associated with obtaining cancer treatments out of town. Travel and living acomidations quickly add up and many families struggle with this financial burden. In addition, treatment itself is very costly. Ryan's family is devastated with this very sudden diagnosis and would appreciate any help they can get. Thank you and please keep Ryan in your thoughts and prayers.
