In December, 31 year old Ryan and his wife Kara received the life changing news of a lemon sized mass on Ryan’s brain. Ryan underwent a successful emergency surgery at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore to remove the mass. While recovering from surgery, Ryan and his family received the devastating news that the mass was cancerous and a very serious aggressive type. Ryan is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation at Mass General in Boston. Starting in March he will be finishing out six more months of chemotherapy in Indianapolis where he can be with his wife and son.
Although devastating, Ryan’s prognosis is promising and he is definitely a fighter. He and his wife have a three year old son, Jackson. Life has a way of throwing some unexpected curveballs and the Kerwans have already been beset by a host of astronomical medical bills and a future of costly treatments and procedures. Cancer is a life shattering and absolutely terrifying diagnosis, especially when Ryan is so young and this was so unexpected. Please consider donating if you are able to, as any amount would benefit this beautiful family and help relieve their worries. Prayers and good thoughts are always, always appreciated. Life is such a precious and beautiful gift we all too often take for granted. Please hold your own loved ones a little tighter today and consider helping this family. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please share!
