Ryan Grimaldi Fund for Andrea
On November 3, 2017, our lives were forever changed when a falling tree took the life of 31-year-old Ryan Grimaldi. This loss has been devestating to our family and all who knew him.
Ryan was an amazing human being, an avid hunter, a great friend, selfless, giving, and a professional firefighter who was willing to risk his life for a stranger in need. He would talk to anyone, anywhere, always had a story to share, and was quick to make new friends. He was engaged to my sister, Andrea Tardio, who is also a professional firefighter. He was everything you could hope for in a future brother-in-law.
Andrea and Ryan have been together for over 10 years and were planning to get married next August. In February of 2016, they purchased their dream home on a piece of rural property in Yamhill County. They have spent the last year and a half upgrading the home and property. They just finished building a new horse barn less than two months ago.
Unfortunately, Andrea will not be able to pay the current mortgage and home equity loan that was used to finance the new barn on her salary alone. This fund is being started for her benefit, to provide emergency financial assistance while she is grieving this sudden loss.
Our goal is to raise enough funds to pay off the home equity loan. We want to ensure Andrea will be able to continue living on her property, a place that will always hold special memories of Ryan for her.

Ryan’s Celebration of Life will be at Liberty High School 7445 NE Wagon Drive, Hillsboro, OR 97124 on Saturday November 11th at 1:00 pm.
Immediately following Ryan's Celebration of Life there will be a reception at
Fellow's Arena 5990 SW Fern Hill Rd, Forest Grove, OR 97116 hosted by Dennis and Gerri Fellows.
No Celebration of Life for Ryan would be complete without a hockey game. Portland Winterhawk's have reached out to us and are dedicating their game that evening at 6:00pm in memory of Ryan. Please join us if you can at Moda Center 1 N Center Ct St, Portland, OR 97227.
