Love for Leo (and his vet bills)

So my cat Leo is normally very happy and healthy, but the past few days, he hasn't been himself. I took him to the vet today to get him checked out and they told me he has a bladder problem when crystals form and block urine from passing through the urethra. So, the vet told me they would need to keep him over the weekend and monitor him, give him treatments to help pass the crystals, and do some tests on him. This all will cost about $500. BUT... they said there is a considerable chance these treatments won't work and they will have to do emergency surgery to put in a catheter and drain his bladder.
I had no idea this could be so life threatening, but the vet told me that if I had not brought Leo in today, his bladder very well could have burst at home and he would have died. This emergency procedure that they are telling me they will likely have to perform will cost $1500.... which is why I am starting this go fund me. I am not someone to normally ask for money from anyone, but I'm in college and I just don't have that sort of money laying around. The vet also pretty much told me that if they don't do that surgery, I may come back home this weekend without a cat. I'm not asking for much at all. For anyone who has a pet, you know how heart breaking that is to hear. Leo is my baby and I don't know what I would do if he passed. If anyone can donate even just a dollar or five dollars, that would help me tremendously.
I don't expect to get this whole thing covered by any means, but any small donation will lighten the financial burden. I would so greatly appreciate any donations to this cause!!
