It came as a complete shock to us when we learned that Freddie was diagnosed with an aggressive Renal Cell Carcinoma a few short weeks ago. Our family is turned up side down and right now we try to focus solely on the fight of our life's to get Freddie better. Please pray for us.
On Monday, Freddie was hospitalized for life threatening Calcium levels in his blood as well as very unhealthy kidney function. The hospital stay made an already desperate situation even more stressful.
Our medical team has determined that chemo therapy will be the best way to get treatment started. Freddie had surgery to insert a chemo port in his chest yesterday.
