UPDATE: We're thrilled to report that Omar’s run inspired you all to raise $1,400 in less than 2 weeks, a full $400 more than our modest $1,000 goal, which is equally incredible. We could have set our goal higher! But Global Dental Relief is going to be thrilled—they told me if we even raised $100, they would be happy, because it meant 5 more children would receive dental care. Now (after GoFundMe fees) at least 65 children in third world countries will get to go to the dentist for the very first time.
Everyone ought to be very proud—of Omar and of yourselves! Very grateful to work with and know all of you.

As many of you have been hearing for months, PureLife president Omar Al-Midani is just days away from taking on La SaintéLyon, a famously grueling, 72-km long distance endurance marathon through the cold night air in France--and you can be a part of his journey by donating to the charity he will represent during the countdown to this epic event!
In the days that remain until Dec. 2, Omar is raising money for Global Dental Relief, a cause with a great deal of meaning to us all--because GDR provides first-time dental care to children in underprivileged parts of the world like Kenya, Cambodia, Nepal, India and Guatemala.
Just one $20 donation from you allows one child to get the very first dental care of their lives. Which means if you give $100, that's 5 children who receive dental care ... but even $20 clearly goes a long way!
Global Dental Relief operates with low administrative costs; extensive in-kind donations; and the involvement of volunteers, who pay their own way and donate their time in Global Dental Relief clinics. This means every dollar donated to GDR is highly leveraged and provides $20 in dental care for a child.
