Please help me reach my goal to help me to walk independently I’m so close but just need this extra help even £5 goes a long way, On the 3rd December 2017 I will be taking part in the 5k disability sporting event in Windsor winter wonderwheels I would ask you to please dig deep and sponsor Myself to help fulfill my goals, she is the most loving, happy and gorgeous girl and it would mean so much to see her progress.
Ruby-lee is 5years old and has grobal development delay along side other problems ( hypermobility, low muscle tone and a brain condition known as Bilateral frontal and perisylvian polymicogyria.)
Ruby-lee is currently unable to walk but has shown amazing progress during her private physio, unfortunately the NHS physio is minimal and not offered enough. Iam asking for your help generously in helping fund Ruby-lee's private physiotherapy where she has recently made 2 steps these where very big steps for Ruby-lee, Ruby -lee faces many challenges on a daily basis. Her quality of life and future progress rely solely on her continued therapy, however such therapy is not avabiable. On the NHS .
Ruby-lee's story
At 20 week scan I found out Ruby -lee had extra fluid on her left venticle, I was advised to terminate the pregnancy at 20weeks but I could not do this I was sent to kings hospital in London to have a 3D scan when there they advised me she would have delay problems I made the decision to continue my pregnancy.
At 35 weeks pregnant I was then told I had gestational diabetes and had been left so had to deliver ruby at 39 weeks, had normal delivery and everything seemed fine. At 4 weeks old Ruby -lee had an ultra sound scan and I was told everything looked normal so that was a great relive.
At 9/10 months Ruby-lee couldn't sit up or crawl so I know something wasn't right she was then sent for a MRI scan and then found out the problems she has from then I have been fighting and doing my all to help her to walk but nothing was helping around May this year 2017 I started fundraising and taking ruby to private physio which now she is doing excellent still not where she needs to be but it is helping a great deal with your help and support Ruby-lee can become a strong little girl and do what.
