RTR Recognition Banners

Since 1996, RTR athletic teams have gone unrecognized for their accomplishments on the field and on the court. Banners were in the gym from previous teams, but nothing after 1996. As Athletic Director, I wanted to update and recognized team accomplishments such as that our RTR teams have done since 1996. We have had several conference, sub-section and section champions, and runners-up over the years that did not have a banner hanging in our gym to give them a feeling of accomplishment. Also, our gym had no conference recognition of our opponents in our Camden Conference. All other schools have banners of conference schools to give them the proper welcome and recognition they deserve. All other conference schools have an RTR banner hanging in their gym. The banners have added a great deal of pride to our community, but the cost of the banners has depleted our athletic budget. We need to separate the banners from the athletic budget so the winter and spring sports have the same opportunities to get what they need as the fall sports did.
