Kathy’s Cancer Fight

As most of my friends and family know, my mother Kathy was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Unfortunately, last year she lost her job of more than 20 years due to Kmart closing. Sadly, not many places want to hire a 60 year old woman that is close to retirement age.
My my mom currently has no income. I plan on returning to work next week, however at the present time I also have had no income. Although I am on FMLA, I did not have much PTO in my bank so I am not getting paid. Things are tight. Very tight. My family does not like to ask for a handout, but since so many people have reached out to ask how they can help, I figure I can try to raise a little bit of money for gas, food, medications and bills for a couple of months to ease the financial burden on my family. I love my mom more than anything and just want her to have a little less stress through this battle.
