Hi! I'm Lydia and I have an offer to study History and Politics at the University of Oxford, Univ College in October.
Today, results day, my offer has been confirmed after receiving A*A*A, exceeding my offer of AAA. However, although I've exceeded this offer, I may not be able to attend my dream university. I am not eligible for Student Finance England for neither tuition fees or maintenance loan. Further to this, I am also considered an international student despite having lived in the country since December 2012, meaning I am expected to pay £26,000 in tuition fees each year of my degree. Univ College has offered support with the maintenance loan, but they are unable to offer any additional help to cover the tuition fees, which I will not be able to pay.
I hope some of you may be able to chip in with however much you can, and possibly help me reach Oxford so that all my efforts have not gone to waste. I'm grateful to any and all contributions!
