To all of our wonderful friends and family:
I decided to try this after much contemplation in the hopes of easing some of the worries and fear my family is experiencing right now. On March 12, 2015 my mother was taken to the emergency room and subsequently diagnosed with an inoperable, highly malignant, and highly aggressive brain tumor. We were told after the biopsy that she will be able to undergo treatment, but that it cannot be cured. This treatment, if effective, will hopefully give us more time as a family and provide her with a more comfortable quality of life. For those of you who may not personally know my mother and father, they are absolutely wonderful people. They have both spent the better part of the last forty years in service to others and still continue to give as much as they can to their local schools and community. Both have served as teachers for troubled youth and adults, and their impact on the lives of these people has been tremendous. They have, for years, given their time and their love to their professions, their community, and, most importantly, our family. As my mother is set to begin her treatment, she will no longer be able to work and has not since that fateful day in March. Therefore, it is my hope to use this as a means to provide them with much needed love and support from our friends, family, and the community they have called home for nearly forty years. If possible, please take a moment to donate to two of the most selfless, humble, generous, and loving people so that they may begin this journey with one less worry. Thank you and God bless.
