Royal Oak High School Lunch Debt / Shaming

Hello, my name is Christina Rayis, I am 14 years old, and I currently attend Royal Oak High School in Michigan. I am looking to raise $2,000 dollars in order to pay off the student lunch debt. My friends have owed money to the school, and were not able to have a lunch for the day. I have seen this exact scenario over and over again throughout this school year. There are many occasions when I shared my lunch, or gave whatever money I had in my pocket at the time- a dollar or two, just so that a friend of mine could grab a bag of chips. I know that it is the summer, and nobody is really thinking about school, or even school lunches. However, every day at lunch this weighed heavily on my mind, knowing that a friend is hungry. It pained me deeply knowing that I had a good healthy meal to eat, yet they did not have anything. I even started packing extra food in my lunch to give to them, but I realized that it would not be enough. That is why I am asking for help to pay off the school lunch debt. My goal is to pay off as much debt as I can through GoFundMe, bake sales, garage sales, selling candy, and a can drive. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
