Roxy needs new knees

Roxy just turned 1 on the 7th of August, she has been with us since a small pup of 8 weeks old. She is my emotional service dog and has been a part making me happy again.

A few weeks ago my Roxy girl was not acting right, I was concerned that at the young age of 1 year she might have hip issues. I was able to find out about care credit and got a small line of credit to take her in to her doctor. At this point we had been living without a paycheck for 3 weeks while hubby changed jobs.

After all was said and done we were told she has "blown out her knees", and then were told our vet does not do the surgery and it could be about $2,500 per knee.

I called our local humane society and am hoping they can work with us to help Roxy and hopefully with the costs of her surgery. So here I am asking help from all of you for her. We simply cannot afford the cost of this surgery and I can't stand to see her in pain and not be able to act like the vibrant puppy she is.

Any funds raised above and beyond her medical care will be donated back to the Idaho Humane Society so they can also help the insane amounts of animals that come through their doors.

I hope that little by little, we reach our goal for her and are able to provide her with new knees so she can run again!
