Many of you know me, but as for those who don't, here is a little background.
I am from the remote highlands of Papua New Guinea. My father is a subsistence farmer, my mother died when I was seven. I moved to Australia in 2011 in search for better education opportunities.
At the moment, I am studying Bachelor of Nursing at Western Sydney University. I have done my clinical placements at various hospitals in the Blue Mountain which includes Katoomba, Lithgow and Neapean. I love what I do and am reaaly enjoying it.
I work in a Nursing home to cover my living expenses. However I need support from you to pay my university fees. Being an international student means that I have to pay fees upfront for each semester.
This year the university has changed its policy for when tuition fees are to be paid by international students. In previous years it had to be paid before the census date for each semester respectivly but now they want tuition fees to be paid at the beginng of semesters.
For this second semester I am going to be doing 2 units. Each unit is worth $3455. Therefore the total fee is $6910. I will need to pay it before the 30th of July.
I have not created a New Go Fund Me Campaign, I am using the one from last semester. The target I put up says 8000 . However the total amout that I am aiming for this go fund me campain for my second semester fees is $3900. I will keep you updated on when this target is reached or close to it.
Please do not feel obligated to help, but if you would like to support me on this journey by donating any amount you wish, I would be eternally grateful and appreciative.
For the first semester my tution fee was $10 000+, for those individual who have already helped me reach the first target of $5640 that was contributed to my stundent visa, overseas health cover and to my semester fees,I would like to take this time to say a huge thank you to you all of you from the bottom of my heart. I am great full and I appreciate you all for your support. This journey would not be possible without you all in it. Thank you!
