Surgery gone wrong 4 dad, cant work

Donation protected

Hi my name is Leah, I'm 11 years old and im the oldest of my siblings. I am doing this  for my dad, his name is Mark. He is the main provider and works hard for our family. In our family there is also my mom and my 2 younger sisters. Well, in January of 2015 my dad had a surgery called a vasectomy. You may wonder how I know what this even is but i am 11 now and am learning these things. This procedure was supposed to be very safe because its considered to be an everyday in the office type surgery, but it didn't turn out that way for my dad. My dad had very bad pain from the surgery that the doctors said should go away, but it didn't. After many tests my dad was finally diagnosed with PVP, which is a rare condition that only .1% of men can get and it means post-vasectomy pain. My dad tried so many medicines that only made him sick but didn't help with the pain. He spent a lot of money with the doctors and medicines but nothing helped him. He also missed a lot of work. My dad finally was told that a reversal of the procedure might help him. But his insurance wouldn't allow that. So my dad had to beg and plead to get them to realize that he can't live like this. He doesn't have quality of life anymore. My dad can't chop wood for our home since we only have a woodstove to keep us warm. He can't hardly do anything becuase his pain will get too bad and it makes him very sick. He has been so sick lately from the pain that he can hardly eat and my dad has now lost over 50lbs. Finally in September of 2016 my dad's insurance approved for him to get the reversal in hopes that it will make his pain go away. It took a long time and money but now he is finally scheduled for his surgery on December 19th 2016, right before Christmas. My family has run out of money. Mom says maybe we will get some stocking stuffers  this year, but I told my parents to not get me presents this year so they can save money. My dad also doesn't have enough time to take off work for recovery and my family will have at least 2 weeks with no pay, but the doctor told my dad it can take up to 6 weeks maybe. So I am doing this hoping and praying we can raise enough money for the surgery and time off for healing for my dad. Even if you can't afford to give we appreciate prayers and sharing this to others. Please spread the word. May God bless you all.
