Round-trip ticket to Washington, DC for 2019 NK360

I am honored and grateful to be selected to attend the 2019 National Museum of the American Indian's NK360° Summer Teacher Institute in Washington, DC. https://americanindian.si.edu/nk360/about.cshtml I am trying to raise funds for the round-trip ticket from Los Angeles to Washington, DC. Due the high cost of living in Los Angeles and unforseen expenses, I have been experiencing financial hardship this year. In addition, the teacher's strike in Los Angeles has been impacting my paycheck each month as the district takes out a day of pay each month for each day of the strike. The impact will continue until around August.
Housing, breakfast and lunch will be covered during my time at the NK360° Summer Teacher Institute but not travel costs to and from the institute. As a public high school English teacher, what I learn at the 2019 NK360° Summer Teacher Institute will help my students. It will help me with lesson planning and instruction in the classroom, giving me resources, community support and training on incorporating indigenous literature and perspectives into my common core curriculum.
This means a lot to me and I greatly appreciate any help in any amount. If you could donate $5 or $10 or $20...that would be amazing. I plan on paying for my plane tickets by June 5th and ending this GoFundMe on June 1st. Asking for help is uncommon from me since I try to manage on my own, but I know it takes a village to raise our children and future generations and so I gave myself permission to reach out to my community.

"Dear Ms. Chuc:
We are excited to inform you that you have been selected to attend the 2019 National Museum of the American Indian’s NK360° Summer Teacher Institute in Washington, DC! Housing as well as breakfast and lunch are provided for the duration of the Institute. You, however, are responsible for the cost of your travel to and from Washington, DC. The Institute will run Monday morning, July 8 until Thursday afternoon, July 11. Please plan to arrive in Washington, DC no later than late afternoon or evening of Sunday, July 7.
