Roto's emergency vet treatment

I hate having to do this, but my cat is more important to me than my pride.

Roto has been with me since he was nine months old, and he's just over 13 years old now so he's an old man. He's utterly inseparable from me and I love him more than I can put into words.

Over the last few days, I've noticed he's not been eating much, and has been running away from his food which is never a good sign. Tonight while snuggling, I was able to peek at his gums and noticed he's got a very nasty rotten tooth and an obvious infection, which likely means extraction.

To be blunt, I'm still paying off the massive bill from his brother's tooth extractions at the end of last year and spent this evening wondering how on earth I'm going to get him treated. I have a little room on the Care Credit account I set up, but it'll be a few months until I have that fully paid off and in the meantime it's not even close to enough to cover a tooth extraction. I've exhausted my savings and the generosity of my family, and it's killing me watching him suffer.

It's a big ask, and I know it can be hard to justify helping someone with their bills when you've got your own to worry about, but if you have any room at all and are able to contribute towards the final total of this surgery it would mean the world to me. Hell, I'm even willing to call it a loan and pay back your contributions in kind!

The total cost is a guess based on prior tooth extraction bills I've been faced with (between $900 and $1250). With any luck it'll be less, but anything will help. <3
