Rossi's recovery

Donation protected
My sister and our friend, Rossana Arias, suffered a stroke on Thursday April 19th. She was a work when the symptoms began and she called the rescue herself because she happened to be alone at work that day.

When she arrived to the ER she was disoriented, pretty much lost her eye sight. Doctors were not able to complete any exams because she was very agitated and was not able to cooperate by sitting still for those exams to be done. Rossi did lose her vision that day and got transferred to the ICU where she currently still is.

That night she became a little more stable, alert and most importantly she could see her family again – with blurry vision but she was showing signs of her vision improving.

Friday and Saturday, they proceeded with doing all the exams they were not able to do the day she arrived by rescue. They confirmed that she indeed did have a stroke and currently has a hemorrhage in the back of brain that is causing her to have the non-stop headaches. She is still in the ICU since Thursday but will eventually get moved to a room and will remain hospitalized probably for another week or more depending on how she is recuperating.

As many of you know my sister is a hard worker and dedicated to her kids. She does not have any insurance so any little bit you can help with will help her cover most of the expenses she is going to have and will need to find herself a good insurance so she can continue to see a Neurologist. I know for her asking for help financially is a huge thing and probably will be upset her when she finds out that we have created this to help her out financially.

Rossi has all the love family and friends can provide to her and emotional support for anything that is coming her way, but the stress she will have on her knowing she will have this huge unexpected expense will not help her in her recovery. Rossi is an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, friend but above all that she is an amazing mother and deserves for everyone to get together and help her out in every way we possibly can because she would do it for us in a heartbeat.

If you have any questions regarding Rossi’s health or how you can help or would like to visit her, please reach out to me (her annoying little sister, Silvana) or to Anita (Ana Castaneda) who are working together to relief some stress off her shoulders.
