"Rosita" Post-Production Fund

Rosita is a gay love story set in San Francisco, telling a tale of loneliness and unexpected love.



We are a group of independent student filmmakers working in the San Francisco Bay Area, proud to introduce our new film Rosita.

Rosita is the bittersweet story of José and Andrew, two elderly San Franciscans passed up by modern life and alienated by their own city, who find unexpected love and new hope in each other.

Filming for Rosita was completed in December 2017, and the film is currently in post-production.

Unfortunately, it is not an easy task to make a movie, especially on an independent film budget. That’s why we’ve started a crowd-funding campaign for Rosita’s post-production, so we can continue our work to complete the film.
