Raising for Rosie the Greyhound
Donation protected
Meet Rosie. She was adopted through Prison Greyhounds to a very wonderful, loving family. Right now Rosie and her family could really use your support. Rosie and her mom were on a walk when an unleashed dog came out of nowhere and attacked Rosie. Rosie suffered many injuries, some which had a huge potential to be fatal from the start. Rosie was rushed into surgery for an artery that was punctured in her neck and was able to be stabilized but still has a long road to recovery. With every bite, Rosie's skin was torn from her muscle so she's at risk for her skin to start dying around her wounds. In addition to this, Rosie has not been eating and haf developed a stomach ulcer so she's throwing everything up that they try to get down her.
Rosie, her family, and her friends are all hopeful that she will make a full recovery, both physically and emotionally. As you can imagine, her family is under a lot of stress, not only from the traumatic event but from the finances that are going to accrue from all the medical expenses that are involved in Rosie's care.
Raising for Rosie the Greyhound has been created to assist this family in the coming medical expensives and any other costs they may have regarding this situation. Every donation will help and no donation is too small. Please share Rosie's story and assist this family with finding some peace in a very dark time.
