Rory Needs An Ultrasound

My wonderful, sweet Rory is sick.

Two years ago he wasn’t eating much, and couldn’t keep down what he did. I made an appointment with the vet to see what could be wrong. He was active—running around the yard, chasing his sister Amy that same morning, so I didn’t think it would be too bad, but it was. He was in liver failure. I couldn’t believe it. We went to a specialist, and after tests and consultations, they removed his gall bladder. He was supposed to be good to go from there on out, but today he’s not.

Rory started exhibiting the same symptoms again. His blood test results show he’s in liver failure. He may have a blockage that would require a stent, or he could merely require medication, but we can’t know until he has an ultrasound. 

Last summer I started running my own business and unfortunately I just don’t have the money to help him. Ultrasounds and consultations are expensive. I hate to ask, but the love I have for my dogs outweighs my pride. 

I hope that it’s only medication he needs, because I honestly don’t know what we’ll do if he needs surgery, but Alice and I need to know one way or another.
