EVE Robotics-Help Us Get To The World Championship

Donation protected
Imagine a place where girls successfully work together to design and program robots on a competitive level. We are FIRST Robotic Competition (FRC) Rookie team 7514 EVE. The mission of EVE is to have every girl Engineering Vigorously Everyday (EVE). We provide an environment where girls see other girls designing, machining parts, programming, and creating computer aided drawings. We provide a place, a galaxy if you will, for girls to learn engineering principles via the FIRST Robotics Program. Our primary goal is to get our immediate community to see girls in engineering as commonplace as girls in a dance or cheerleading.

EVE Robotics is a not for profit community-based Robotics Team open to students from all over the Metro Atlanta area. Targeting girls from a lower socio-economic, urban background, our objective is to build a proficient FRC team, capable of building a competitive robot that will earn the team a spot at the World Championship.

We are an energetic all-girl team that has wasted no time making it loud in our community. Outreach is a high priority for this team.  Our outreach ambition is to create a pipeline, grades K-12, through the FIRST program. In our short tenure, we have mentored one Jr. FLL team, STARTED & mentored  a FIRST Lego League team, an FTC Team, (ATOM #14750). We look for ways to be attractive to students who would not traditionally commit their time to a STEM-related activity. We have authored a STEM-inspired kid's book entitled: #girlsLOVErobots, that we share with children during our outreach events. We have participated in many community events reaching more than 20,000 metro Atlanta residents.

We were awarded the All-Star Rookie Award at our first regional qualifier due to our efforts, advancing our team to state competition with a chance to advance to the World Championship in Houston Texas.  Both the state competition and world competitions require additional registration fees of $4000 and $5000 respectively.  Travel and lodging expenses for a team our size to the 4-day World Championship are 10,000.

We are asking you to join us in promoting girls in STEM. EVE needs your help to fulfill their dream of changing the perception of girls in STEM throughout their community. You can help these ladies realize their dreams of becoming a successful competitive robotics team with your donation. Your action today will help girls with dreams become women with a vision. We appreciate every donation.  Thank you for your support!

The State Competition is April 3-5.
The World Championship is in Houston, TX  from April 17-20
