Ronald Terry's Homegoing Fund

Ronald U. Terry was the ninth child of ten. Growing up he was always a bit different from everyone else in terms of how he dressed, his goals and ambitions, and his ability to grow on you in a positive way. He was certainly a good type of infectious, if that makes any sense. He was that type of person that could get on your nerves with his very opinionated personality; and even when you didn't want to listen to him you always found yourself enlightened and thankful that you had that conversation that you didn't want to have.  When he wanted to talk to you about something, don't resist; it only made him talk more and you were going to hear him to the end; but again, he would always leave you in a better place. As his younger brother, he was my inspiration. While my parents set the boundaries, he was a brother who watched over me and made sure I didn't stray too far from those boundaries that would get me in trouble (with my parents and life itself). He would let me bend, but never break. He was so good with taking care of business, saving money, and he would always have a plan for greatness. Ron passed away on March 19, 2017 after a 3-month battle with advanced liver disease. He was my hero and I am going to miss him dearly. Unfortunately, in his illness (which we didn't know about until it was too late) he suffered from a sort of dementia that caused him to forget things and one of those things is his burial/life insurance lapsed and we could not secure any replacement insurance because of the nature of his illness and corresponding waiting period the insurance required. We need these funds to get his body shipped back to Chicago and for the funeral services and plot. We would like him to be buried at the same cemetary along with his mom and three brothers that preceded him in death. My sisters have taken on the responsibility of handling the arrangements. Please help us. Thank you!
