Rogue Burlesque, an award-winning Boston-based neoburlesque troupe, is going on tour!
We're collaborating with our friends in Gainesville, Florida to present a professional co-production of Burlesque Against Humanity, a burlesque show for horrible people.
But we need your help to get us there! This GoFundMe will raise funds to cover transportation costs to send 6 members of Rogue Burlesque to Gainesville and back for the show!

Who is Rogue Burlesque?
We're a professional neoburlesque troupe based in Boston, Massachusetts. We specialize in comedic, campy, and nerdy neoburlesque, with deep roots in classic striptease as well. Visit our website for more info.
What is Burlesque Against Humanity?
Burlesque Against Humanity (BAH) is a burlesque show that parodies the party game, Cards Against Humanity. Burlesque routines are insipired by actual black card/white card pairings from the game, such as "mime having a stroke" and "same-sex ice dancing."
Rogue Burlesque has produced a full-scale professional version of BAH in Somerville, MA in June, 2016, and in Cambridge, MA in February, 2017.
For February, 2018, we're bringing some signature routines from the show with us for the tour, and we're collaborating with local performers who will be contributing their own Cards Against Humanity-inspired routines.
Why Gainesville, Florida?
Thanks to the draw of Alternatease, the New England Neo-burlesque Festival, Rogue has forged deep bonds with wacky kindred spirits from Gainesville. We want to deepen the Boston-Gainesville burlesque connection with this tour -- and also invite Gainesville gals to perform in a Rogue show up in Boston!
We're collaborating with Sally B. Dash and Jenny Castle of the Mischievous Madams troupe, as well as Florence Rosé and Rumor Hassett from Breakway Burlesque. These local power-houses will be hosting and co-producing the Burlesque Against Humanity show, showcasing roughly half Rogue Burlesque performances, and half Gainesville locals. 
When and where is the show?
The show will be on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at High Dive, located at 210 SW 2nd Ave, Gainesville, FL. The show would be a late-night affair, starting around 11pm for a 18+ crowd.
Where does the money go?
All funds raised by this GoFundMe campaign will go toward covering travel costs for 4-5 members of Rogue Burlesque. Costs include:
-Airfare for round-trip coach flights BOS > GVL
-Checked baggage fees (for us to bring our costumes, makeup, and props for the show)
Our funding goal covers these costs, while factoring in GoFundMe fees and rewards costs.
If we raise any excess funds, these will go to the Gainesville girls to help fund their tour up to Boston in Spring, 2018!
