Roger Kilgore’s Medical Condition

Donation protected
I’m a Marine Corps veteran, who served in the first Gulf War. I’ve been in a legal battle with the V.A. for 10 years in order to receive full benefits. I got diagnosed with Lupus SLE in 2005. I had just got married and welcomed our baby girl in 2006 along with our six year old son. I owned my own business and lived in a nice house in Arizona.
By 2009 I had gotten so sick that we lost everything and the 4 of us moved into a room in my dads house in Corpus Christi, Texas. I just kept getting sicker.
This year I have been in the hospital more than I’ve been home. I’ve since developed Raynauds, Seziures, Rheumatoid Arthritis and a suppressed immune system so nothing heals. I have wounds in my foot that we’ve been trying to heal for over 4 years. Trying to not have them amputated.
My wife doesn’t work because she has to take care of me. We live off my social security of less than $2,000 a month in an old ‘70s trailer. I’m very greatful to have a roof over my head for my family no matter how old and beat up it is but we just need help.
We’ve been to Salvation army and Catholic charities for clothes and food. We make too much money (laughable) to get help yet we are way under the poverty line.
Any money we receive would go to medical bills, food, household repairs, and holidays for my kids. We would graciously appreciate any amount given or even just spreading the word. Just putting us in your prayers is generous enough.

Respectfully,
The Kilgore Family
