Wooter Mile

In honor of Rod Hess, a former Wooter simmer, captain, and coach, who passed away in 2013, the Gateway Woodbury Swim Team will be holding a mile swim challenge. All swimmers will be taking donations for the challenge and all proceeds will go into a scholarship fund in Rod Hess's honor. The scholarship will be awarded each year to a senior swimmer who exibits spirit, passion, and enthusiasm that Rod always showed for the team.

A mile swim is 66 laps. Donations can be flat, or per lap.
