Rocky Aker Memorial

Rocky Aker was killed by a drunk driver on Monday, January 16th 2017. This tragedy ended a life that was full of love, happiness and positivity. Rocky was a chiropractor and was well-known and well-loved across the Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Port Charlotte communities. Rocky graduated from Riverview High School in 1987. He then attended DePauw university where he played football and baseball. After he graduated he attended Life University to realize his dream of becoming a Chiropractor and helping people achieve a healthful life style. He was a loving father to his three children. Jared, 17 years old, is just beginning his college carreer. Alexis, 12 years old, loves dancing and music. Wyatt, 11 years old, is a huge sports fan, just like his dad. His wife of 21 years, Kristi, a devoted mother shared many happy moments and adventures with Rocky as they navigated life and raised their family together.
