Starting at Uluru and finishing at the Todd River in Alice Springs, The Rock to River Row aims to raise $30,000 in support of three Aussie charities: the Alice Springs Wig Library, MusiKarma, and the Motor Neurone Disease Association of New South Wales.
Over five days the team will row 500 kilometers on rowing machines at various locations from Uluru to Alice Springs - Uluru Camel Farm, Mt. Connor, Kings Creek, Finke River, Ross River and the Todd River.
While our team - Jeff Huyben, Stuart Ord, Adam Thompson, and Brett Wheeler - busily trains and prepares, you can help by pledging your support for this colossal effort.
Join the team for Happy Hour celebrations and sore muscles at the Chifley Alice Springs Resort on Thursday, 22 September from 5:30 to 8:30pm. There'll be complimentary nibbles, platters, music and more!
