Rockie

My best friend and I have raised Rockie since he was a pup; he's now only 2 (two). He's so full of energy and excitement that everyone loves him. He loves to play, sometimes a little rough, but he wouldn't hurt a fly.

After only two weeks of moving to a large farm in Custer County (that my best friend just bought), Rockie was hit by a careless driver on Saturday, May 5th, 2018. Thanks to some wonderful people whom located him - 24 hours later and more than 8 miles from home - he was reunited with his owner.

There was something obviously wrong. After an emergency visit, Rockie was accessed and given pain meds: his elbow is completely broken and his spirit is shattered. Due to the recent move (and much needed home renovations), the required surgery costs are too much. Numerous calls were made to various Vets to find a lower cost, but is still more than affordable.

We are still trying to locate the reckless party - whom did not care to stop, let alone drive safely (on a narrow dirt road) - to come forward and take responsibility for their actions.

In the mean time, we are requesting any help to give Rockie the best chance of survival - to get back to himself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
