Blast Off and Pro Recordings!

South Milwaukee High School's a cappella groups, Delta V and The PopRockets are raising money to record their first professional singles AND have a cappella professionals run sound for this year's Blast Off!
In the two groups' short existence (founded in 2013-2014) they have already made the school and community proud, and have put South Milwaukee on the a cappella map. Both groups have competed in the International Champtionship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA), and this year, became just the 5th school to have 2 groups place in the same competition. The PopRockets performed at the Midwest semifinal as one of the top 10 groups in the midwest region, and Delta V earned special awards of "Outstanding Choreography" and "Outstanging Vocal Percussion" in their quarterfinal.
Both groups have also done local community outreach, singing for senior homes, charity functions, and hosting festivals with the professional group "Six Appeal" for the past 2 years in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Mitchell Field. South Milwaukee Music Parents, and the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center.
Your donation will help bring a professional quality single for BOTH groups, as well as having the spring a cappella concert, The Blast Off (on June 1st) be produced by the professional company, A Cappella Productions (ACP). If more is donated, even more surprises and possibilities can happen.
The experience of working in a recording studio, and having a professional quality show will be invaluable for student growth, and the singles will be permanent records of these incredible high schoolers and their accomplishments.
