Robert "Rhino" Lendman Memorial

When I first heard of Rhino it was 2011.  We were running a small business and were really struggling financially.  Having just adopted 3 young boys everything we had was going to feed the family, it was hard to even do that some days. Mom (Belinda Olson)and Rhino had been friends for a while and were working at Southland.  One day while they were talking he whipped out his wallet and pulled out a $50 bill.  He made her promise to give it to me to use for groceries and to let her know that he would be praying for me.  I remember standing in the driveway looking at the money she had just handed me and asked why he did that.  She responded, "That's just Rhino."



The next 7 years I learned that, that indeed was "just Rhino."  This man never knew a stranger.  He bought breakfasts for strangers and made everyone he knew feel like family. He was the first to tell others that he had made mistakes.  He embraced those mistakes and tried every day to be the best Rhino he could.  I know that he is standing at the gates of heaven having used all of the love and talent he had to help others.


We created this Go Fund me because Rhino was the first one to help others.  If not with money with his vast knowledge and kindness.  Many of us that are self-employed don't think of the day in which we cannot continue to make money to support our family.  So many have come to us since they heard of his passing, asking how they could help.  If you cannot help financially then please do a kindness in his honor.  The world would be a much better place with more people like Rhino in it.
