Robert Benton Memorial Fund

Hello, friends and family. This past weekend, my uncle Bob passed suddenly after battling an array of health issues over the past year. Needless to say, our family is in shock, and the bulk of memorial planning has fallen on my cousin and best friend, Olivia Lee-Benton-- Bob's daughter. Since Bob fell ill, Olivia took it upon herself to do everything she could to help him recover-- regular visits, financial assistance, and finding him the best care facilities she could.

She is now tasked with the planning and payment of a memorial service for Bob-- something that no one should have to do at only 24 years old. She has been a beacon of strength in our family these past few days, but my family and I feel it is our duty to do whatever we can to help her during this time.

With all of that being said-- I am starting this campaign to help raise funds to give Bob the celebration of life that he deserves. WE are hoping to arrange a memorial service on Thursday evening, the 18th of October. So this is very short notice, but ANY amount any of you could give will help our family astronomically. Many of you knew Bob, and Olivia, myself, and my mother and aunt will do everything we can to keep everyone updated on the progress of planning (time, location, etc.). 

Bob is survived by 5 children-- Tim, Matt, Lexi, Olivia, and Tommy. He is also survived by several siblings, an abundance of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. As we grieve, I pray that you all take stock in each of your lives and make sure to let your loved ones know just how special they are to you-- you never know when it will be the last time you speak with them.
