Sergeant Rob Harty - our colleague, our friend, and our brother - needs our help!
Just months after beating prostate cancer, Rob became violently ill one morning. He was rushed to the hospital and would later be diagnosed with a brain tumor.
A devastating diagnosis for anyone, especially to the father of 4 who just beat prostate cancer. Due to the seriousness of this diagnosis, Rob has been encouraged to seek several opinions - including those of doctors as far as Texas. Rob will likely be out of work for an extended period of time while seeking and recovering from treatment. This will certainly have a major financial impact on Rob, his wife Katie and their family.
Sergeant Rob Harty has been a Coral Springs Police Officer for over 21 years. He is a valued member of the Fraternal Order of Police and is a long-time member of the SWAT team. He’s an amazing father, husband, and all around great guy. The epitome of what a police officer should be Rob has always been one to help others. Now it’s our turn to help Rob during his time of need.
