David's fight with Leukemia

Meet 8 year old David Campbell. David was diagnosed this week with T-cell type of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. David is very sick and his leukemia is advancing quickly. David has lived in Roatan Honduras his entire 8 years of life. Some of you may recognize David, if you have visited Samuel Raymond Christian School in Roatan Honduras. David has an infectious joy that captures the attention and heart of everyone who walks through the door.
When David was diagnosed with leukemia he was miraculously accepted into St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. His grandfather and guardian, Tom Campbell, wasted no time getting David to Memphis. Tom said, “This has been an ordeal that could not have turned out the way it did without God’s intervention, and I know He’s not finished yet. We are so blessed to be here at St. Jude’s.”
Tom has lived in Roatan for the past 15 years and his work has abruptly and quite unexpectedly come to a complete halt. There are many things that will need to be done to “wrap up” and pull anchors from Roatan and relocate to Memphis. It looks like David will be in Memphis for at least the next two or three years. Tom is willing to make any changes to make sure David is cared for.
When we approached Tom to get his permission to post a Go Fund Me Page, he responded saying, “Your offer to help with funds is yet another one of God’s loving surprises that seem to come right out of the blue. This would be of great help and deeply appreciated.”
