The Americans, specifically, Women, LGBT-Q, People of Colors, Disabled, People with Illness, Jewish and Muslims are directly impacted by Trump and his xenophobic, homophobic, misogynistic, anti-Semitic, racist and sexist followers.
We cannot sit back and allow a hateful person like Trump to take reins of our country and the world. His appointment of Pence and Bannon is alarming and it’s just the beginning. Hate crimes and reports of harrassments are now rampant across our nation as Trump and his followers have become brazen with hopes to make America run by White Male Supremacists.
This movement, Roar From the Heart, is an individual and collectivist project to fund a non-profit organization to Deaf Women of Color. Not just that, this is also our platform as marginalized, oppressed and intimidated individuals to take a stand for that our humanity's at stake. Here, we will express our anger, hopes and “voice,” through the art of photography. All photos are hashtagged #roarnow for everyone to see. Follow our Instagram account, roarfromtheheart, to see the gallery we'll be creating on a daily basis.
100% of the funds will go directly the Deaf Women of Color.
