Hello Roamin' Jasmine Friends and Family!
We have just finished recording our second album and are super excited to share this new music with you all! The band put in a lot of hard work in rehearsals and two long days in the studio and it has paid off. The recordings sound fantastic! The new album will include some staples of our live show including "Delta Bound", "Gotta Go Get My Baby" and "My Blue Heaven", plus some brand new arrangements of original songs (composed by yours truly, Taylor Smith!) and classic country blues and jazz.
There are a bunch of upfront costs associated with the record including: paying our fantastic recording engineer, Mr Al Tharp, paying for the beautiful album artwork done by Mr. Christopher Smith, paying for the actual printing and duplication of the new album, and paying to re-print copies of our first album. Since we just bought plane tickets for our UK tour, we are a little short on band funds, so that's where you come in:
To raise the funds we need, we are selling signed pre-order copies of the new album for $20 (shipping included in the USA, add $10 for international or if you're at our show in the UK we'll hand-deliver it!). If you want to help us out even more we are offering signed copies of the new album and the first album plus a postcard from the band's UK tour for $50. And if you want to become a super-fan, for $75 we'll throw in both signed albums, a postcard from tour, AND a special un-released compilation cd of live tracks with some fun extended versions of our songs plus some great live tunes that aren't featured on either album and you can't buy anywhere! And if you want to be a true Jasmine-Head, for $100 we'll throw in both albums, the unreleased live CD, a postcard from tour, and one of our limited edition Roamin' Jasmine T-shirts.
We're hoping to get the CD all released and in our hands before we leave for our UK tour on June 14th, so if you want to help us get overseas and back in one piece, order yourself a CD before then. We really appreciate all of you for helping make this Album possible and can't wait to get it in your hands!
