Road to "Eclectic Soul"

Since the very beginning, DuPont Brass has been a living representation of community.  Starting out as five music students raising money for tuition during the Christmas season, we never thought our efforts would touch others so deeply.  Five years later, what started out as busking in between classes has now become our very livelihood.  Thanks to everyone that tipped us on those cold (and hot) mornings/evenings, the majority of DuPont Brass has finished school and now living our dreams as professional musicians.  However, regardless of our growth, we've always continued to feel connected to the community that gave us our start.  

Though we have come far, we still need the help of our neighbors.  Our most recent efforts have led us to a new mixtape entitled "Eclectic Soul".  We came to a decision to make a mixtape this go 'round because we want to continue our tradition of giving back to the community through music, whether it be on wax or on the streets.  Unfortunately, we are not yet at the place in our careers where we can do it all alone, just as we couldn't five years ago.  It is for this reason that we have started this campaign.  DuPont Brass wants to recreate that magical moment that started at DuPont Circle metro station between the Panera and Krispy Kreme.  By helping us with the final stages of this project, you are not just sowing into DuPont Brass, but our dream of healing the world with music.
