Theresa's road to WWC2017

Hi everyone, I’m Theresa

I have been selected to represent Australia in the 2017 IFAF Women's World Championship and I need your support.

I have dreamt to represent Australia and I can now say DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE.

After more than a year of preparation and two successful national training /selection camps Gridiron Australia announced the 52 Australian women to travel to the third 2017 IFAF Women's World Championship held in Langley, Vancouver Canada. This will be the first time that Australia will field a Women’s National Team in the sport of American Football.

Unfortunately American Football in Australia is an amateur sport and is NOT funded by the Australian Sports Commission. In order to compete at the 2017 World Championship I'll need to fund my own flights, accommodation, equipment and uniforms to the cost of approximately $7000.

Any contributions big or small will be a great deal on my journey to Canada.
