Champagne Bubbles road to MGA
Hello friends and family! For several years I’ve been performing as Champagne Bubbles and you have all been so amazing and supportive all along the way! I’m excited to announce that I have qualified to compete at nationals for Miss Gay America! Miss Gay America (MGA) is a female impersonation pageantry system (in its 43rd year of excellence) which allows performers to compete on a level playing field and learn from each other.
These last couple years I have grown so much, but this last year has been the biggest transformation of all. I attribute that to discovering the inner beauty inside. From Miss Ice Palace 2017 to Miss Hell’s Kitchen ‘Best Swimwear,’ I have learned so much but it’s time for the next step up as I take my talents to the national level!
I have amazing support and ideas, but I need your help bringing them to life! I will be having many fundraising events, and if I qualify in preliminaries, will be working with a promoter to further offset the costs of nationals for Miss Gay America 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana October 4-7, 2017.
I’m opening up this page to ask for help from those of you who would like to donate to the Champagne cause. If you can’t donate, I completely understand but I definitely want you to know your personal support of me means so much! If you’d like to help in your own way there are lots of tasks like stoning, beading, and promoting that would be really appreciated.
If you do decide to donate, your donation will help pay for…
· Hotel and travel accommodations for myself and my team of dresser, dancers, etc. (outside of those not paid for by MGA)
· Rhinestones, beads, feathers, fabric, and supplies… All that goes into making me the beautiful lady I am
· Rehearsals and talent mix/choreography
Aside from the joy of helping your favorite drag queen, Champagne Bubbles, I’ll make sure you’re listed in the Miss Gay America national program book, are announced as my sponsor during the Evening Gown presentation, as well as other little tokens of my appreciation for you!
