Road to 2017 Junior Olympics

Donation protected
The road to Lawrence, Kansas for the 2017 USATF Junior Olympics from July 24-30 is quickly approaching and 13 year old  Alex Nunley is fundraising to get there.  As many of you know, Alex has worked very hard all year and has earned the opportunity to represent his hometown of Garner, the great state of North Carolina along with his regional states of MD and VA in the 13-14 boys age group.  He will be competing in the following three events in which he is currently ranked #1 in the Nation: 100h, 200h and the 100m.  Alex is also the National Record Holder in the 100h a record he set at his regional 3 qualifier the weekend of July 7-9.  Alex is also the reigning 13-14 boys 2017 Hershey Youth National Indoor Champion in the 55m, 55h, 4x1, 4x4 and National Record Holder in the 55m and 55h.

The fundraising goal is $1500.00 and the funds will be used for transportation, hotel, meals, uniform and other miscellaneous fees.  Alex currently holds 11 National track and field titles all won since the age of 11 and he is looking forward to winning 3 more in Kansas.  This is a great opportunity for family, friends and fans to show your support and encouragement to a talented young man.  Whatever you find in your heart to give will be greatly appreciated!  Thank you in advance for your donations!
