WE NEED YOUR HELP....
6000 children will die today as a result of waterborne diseases. 783 million people still do not have access to clean water. And almost 2.5 billion people do not have access to adequate sanitation.
Our team is creating a race called "Running Water" to help change that, but in order to make a difference, we'll need your support. We need your help to make this race a success.
The Running Water race aims to create empathy for the challenge that water collection poses to millions worldwide and will provide clean water access to those in need. During the race, participants will travel the average distance women and children trek every day for water collection (3.7 miles). Each participant's registration fee will directly be donated to charity: water, helping fund clean water access for an individual in need. Our goal is to raise a total of $10,000 bringing clean water to over 330 people and allowing us to found a water project in the name of our race.
