Beau's Vet Bill

This morning my very good boy Beau had four seizures  within an hour and a half and is currently sedated with phenobarbital at his vet. Beau will be under observation at the clinic until 6pm today, after which I hope to take him home.

  I'm turning to Go Fund Me to help cover the unexpected expense of today's medical treatment, specifically IV catheterization, intravenous anti seizure medication, hospitalization & his exam today as well as the follow up scheduled for three weeks from now (April 19th).



  Beau, whose full name is Beaumont San Antonio, is quite a character. I adopted him in Seattle WA  9/7/2017 after he was airlifted to PAWS Seattle from a 'kill shelter' in San Antonio TX along with around 100 others as Hurricane Harvey approached the gulf coast.

In reading his paperwork from the San Antonio shelter, unless he was adopted he was due to be put down with in a week of this evacuation.


  Beau was a little bit of a wild pup, a runner, and took some adjustment to living with my rules but the attention hound in him was ready to be rewarded for good behavior... 

  As traumatic as the situation this morning was for both of us, his vet believes his seizures can be managed though she did say that having an epileptic canine can be difficult. I want to continue to try and give Beau the best life I can.
