RJ is an intellegent, polite, and playful little 3 year old!
RJ was just diagnosed with Clear Cell Sarcoma of the Kidney (CCSK). This is a malignant renal tumor of childhood which has the propensity to metastisize to bone and other organs. The average age of diagnosis is 2-4 years. RJ just celebrated his 3rd birthday in February.
RJ has endured the removal of the affected kidney and will now be subject to radiation and chemo therapy.
We are trying to help raise funds immediately to take care of growing medical expenses and to help support RJ and his mother (Cierra) during this time.
Cierra has taken a leave of abscence from her job to care for him and will not have any income until she is able to return to work.
The hospital RJ has been in for the last 2 weeks has a policy to only allow parents in so Cierra has been there for the entire time day and night.
