Illustrations for an important book

My friend, Rebecca, is an author of therapeutic picture books for children. She has written a series of books called The Healing Series. This series addresses interpersonal traumas for which there are no books available for children. The first book in this series, Kindness in a Scary World is about exposure to terrorism. The book is apolitical and focuses on the impact of this event on the child and family and what the parents do to reduce the child's fears. The book also contains a guide for parents written by a psychologist who is an expert on terrorism. This book is being published by TitleTown publishing. Rebecca is responsible for paying for the illustrations for this book and the other four books in the series.  She writes these books out of her passion for children and their healing, and they, quite simply are NOT money makers! She has hired a very talented illustrator for this book and the series. I am asking for help to cover the illustration costs for this one book. If we raise more money than is needed for this book it will go to paying for the illustrations for the other books. These books will help therapists and parents talk to thousands of children about very difficult topics. Every day we are exposed to news footage about terrorism. This book is despertely needed so that parents can have a resourse to help them talk to their children. Rebecca needs to raise the money by August 26th.
