Riverside Scholastics to Nationals!

The Riverside Scholastic Bowl Team, which participates in academic trivia competitions, qualified to attend the National Small School Championship Tournament held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare hotel in Rosemont, IL this coming April.
The 2017-2018 Scholastic Team is the first Riverside team to successfully qualify for a national competition after being the top placing small school in a recent WVIA-sponsored tournament. Our team consists of senior students: Mackenzie Mickavicz, Sabrina Alvarez, Christina Smith, Tony DeFrancesco, Kevin Kearney, and Jacob Frie. We have been working tirelessly to prepare and to represent our school and community well. In order to pay for expenses, such as plane tickets and hotel rooms, the team needs to raise $5,000.
We are excited to represent Taylor, Moosic, Lackawanna County, and all of Northeastern Pennsylvania on the national stage as the only local school attending this prestigious event. We cannot do this without the support of our community, so we are asking if you would contribute in order to help us move closer to showcasing our academic prowess.
We are eager to represent our school and make our community proud!
