Riverside needs Track Equipment!

Riverside Track and Field is a truely special athletic program. Our boys and girls teams are famous for their hard work, great coaching and winning records. The boys have been undefeated in their section for13 years!The girls were so close to a WPIAL team win last year they could almost touch it, and sent 6 girls to States. The boys got that WPIAL Team Championship title, had two WPIAL individual champions and 6 state qualifiers.
Spring Track is off to an excellent start!
Thanks again to everyone who has donated so far to help our program grow and improve. We are so grateful for your generosity!
We were able to get the indoor rubber sprint track and now we are focusing on the FAT timing system purchase.
We have about $6,000 dollars in hand toward this 11k pricetag. We were able to get a couple of corporate sponsors; McEllwain Motors and Inmetco (yay!) and it looks like we can raise MOST of the rest through our regular season booster activities and the generosity of the School District.
So, happily, we have revised our GoFundMe goal downward to reflect our new status. Just a little bit more and we will have fully automated timing for the Spring 2019 season.
This means better, easier to manage and more accurate meets, the ability to host bigger Invitatioinals, and the ability to generate enough revenue from those to fund our program into the future without requiring sign up fees or continual fundraising! This is an investment that will benefit the program far into the future.
